Course: Being Assertive - 1 Day
Overview
This course has been developed to provide participants with an understanding of how to be assertive in workplace situations.
The course covers issues such as barriers to being assertive and a range of assertive techniques and models. Delegates will also focus on the differences and effects of non assertive and aggressive behaviour. Participants will learn when and how to use different types of assertion in order to improve their individual impact and through a range of practical exercises will have the opportunity to practice solutions in work type situations Aims
To introduce delegates to a range of assertive techniques and methods that they can use in the workplace in order to display assertive rather than non - assertive or aggressive behaviour.
Objectives
By the end of this course participants will be able to :
