Overview

This event is designed to provide opportunities for new and existing trainers to practice and develop skills that will enable them to deliver effective training sessions, events or presentations. It will cover a range of motivational theories and techniques, objective writing, use of visual aids, dealing with difficult situations and validating training activities.

Aims

To raise participants awareness of the key skills needed for training delivery and to practice these skills through tutor led sessions, discussions observation, small group work, practical exercises and feedback from the tutors and group.

Objectives

By the end of this course participants will be able to :

Apply a range of motivational and learning theories to help them design and deliver training activities
Write appropriate training objectives, use a range of training techniques and prepare and use visual aids effectively
Identify ways of handling difficult situations in the training room
Validate training activities and help learners transfer their learning to the workplace
